Audio-Technica AT875R 6.9
A short shotgun mic that's ideal for DV camcorder mounting
Audio-Technica’s AT875R is a short (7”) shotgun condenser mic engineered especially for video production and Broadcast (electronic news gathering/electronic field production - ENG/EFP) audio capture. Audio-Technica’s shortest shotgun microphone, and at 2.8oz., it mounts conveniently on a DV camcorder without adding noticeable heft. Great for use with compact digital cameras as well, this high-performance mic offers a narrow acceptance angle of line + gradient design. It also features smooth, natural-sounding on-axis audio quality and excellent off-axis rejection of sound from the sides and rear of mic. It operates on phantom power exclusively.
